Privacy Policy

PocketProp (“PocketProp”, “we”, “our”) is a business-to-business platform for real estate agents and property managers in Dubai. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use pocketprop.ai and any associated services.

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and (optionally) RERA / BRN broker credentials and agency details. While using PocketProp, you may add:

  • Property listings (photos, pricing, location, internal notes)
  • Contacts (owners, tenants, leads, fellow agents)
  • Deals and pipeline metadata
  • Documents (title deeds, tenancy contracts, IDs, business cards)
  • WhatsApp messages exchanged with our business number, when you message us from your own phone

2. How we use it

  • To operate the product features you use (listings, contacts, deals, document extraction, market data, messaging).
  • To send service emails (sign-in, password reset, notifications you opt into).
  • To improve product quality through anonymous, aggregated usage analytics.
  • To comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train third-party AI models.

3. Encryption and access

Sensitive client data (e.g. contact names, phone numbers, internal notes) is encrypted in your browser using a key derived from a recovery password that you set. Encrypted fields are stored on our servers as ciphertext only. This is an active product investment and not all fields are protected yet — we are working to extend coverage.

Documents you upload (title deeds, IDs, etc.) are stored on Supabase Storage with row-level access policies. Other agents on the platform cannot read your private documents or contacts.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers we use to operate the service:

  • Supabase (Postgres database + authentication + storage)
  • Cloudflare (CDN, edge compute, DNS)
  • Resend (transactional email delivery)
  • Anthropic / OpenAI (AI document extraction and assistant features, when you use them)
  • Meta WhatsApp Cloud API (only for messages you send to or receive from our +971 52 395 6400 business number)
  • Dubai Land Department open data (DDA) (read-only public market data; we never send your private data here)

We also use Sentry for crash reports and Cloudflare Analytics for non-personal traffic measurement.

5. Listings shared with the agent network

When you choose to share a listing with the wider agent network on PocketProp, the listing’s public-facing fields (property type, community, building, photos, pricing, agent contact card) become visible to other authenticated agents. The owner’s private details (name, contact info, internal notes) do not leave your account unless you explicitly choose to share them.

6. Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete identifiable data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or tax purposes (e.g. financial records under UAE law).

7. Your rights and data deletion

You can request to view, correct, export, or delete your account and associated data at any time. Two ways:

  1. In-app: Sign in → Settings → Delete account. This wipes your profile, contacts, listings, deals, and documents from our active systems. Backups are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
  2. Email: Send a request to support@pocketprop.ai from the address on your account, asking for deletion. We respond within 14 days.

UAE residents and visitors are protected under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021); residents of the EU/UK have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. We honour both.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS only. Access to production systems is restricted to PocketProp’s founders. We use industry-standard practices for credential storage, access logging, and incident response. No system is perfectly secure — please notify us of any vulnerability you find at support@pocketprop.ai.

9. Children

PocketProp is intended for licensed real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app banner. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.
